What others are saying about The New Ballet:
"Hello Joe! I am writing this while Kayla is in rehearsal for the role of Sugar Plum Fairy with The Dance Pointe Studio. The show is on Dec. 8 at 2:00 pm. She also is in that role with Debi Meyers studio----Jane Runyon School of Dance---show is on Dec. 7 at 7:00 pm. Different choreography --traditional on the first one with coda. she is very excited. This was her dream role and she got it twice. Hope all is well with you." ---- Debbie November 9, 2013 (mother of my first student for which I created The New Ballet and as seen in this video: ---- http://www.thenewballet.com/about.html )
"My daughter is currently a student training with Mr. Joe. Her time with Joe is invaluable. She is gaining core and muscle strength in his class that is her foundation in ballet. My daughter loves her traditional ballet and dance classes. When she is with Mr. Joe she thrives because she can see and understand the improvements she is making in her dance and overall strength. In between classes, my daughter is working on her exercises and stretches and thinking about dance. Her muscles are exhausted at the end of her classes with Mr. Joe, yet she doesn't want the class to end. She always looks forward to her next class with Mr. Joe." ---- Sandy, Jun 23, 2010 (mother of current student, Durham, NC)
"Joe Saponaro and I worked together for several years as co-directors of a civic ballet company. Joe's approach to private coaching provides dancers an invaluable tool for strengthening and stabilizing core and placement. His abilities as a partnering coach are unique and instructive for dancers of every level. I highly recommend Joe's methods as a supplement to a serious ballet student's training." ---- Leslie Hodges, Artistic Director, Dance Theater South (Camilla, GA)
"As a former student of Joe Saponaro, I can think of very few people who impacted my dance career as much as Joe. Completely new to partnering, Joe made my first experience exhilarating and quelled any fears I had. I was amazed at his knowledge and expertise, and not to mention his patience. Besides his in depth knowledge of partnering, Joe provided me with a plethora of knowledge concerning nutrition and the proper ways a dancer should take care of his/her body. I found an overwhelming sense of control over my body after just weeks of studying with Joe. Even as a contemporary dancer today, I still use the valuable tools with which Joe provided me years ago. I would recommend his lessons to any dancer wanting a more in depth knowledge of partnering and ballet fundamentals." ---- Alison P. (Former Student, Albany, GA)
